To put it simply, The Dark Knight Rises was perfect. I was certain Nolan would end the trilogy right and he did, despite just about giving me a heart attack first. I am incredibly sad it’s over, but more thankful that it happened. I sincerely hope the Batman film franchise stays untouched for a long while yet. No one can do it the justice Nolan did, the kind of justice it truly deserved. Still in awe and at a loss for words even hours after. Thank you Christopher Nolan and everyone involved.
